The eggs collection papers are specially made paper for maximum holding water for the safe collection of mosquito eggs. The color of the paper is light brown to dark brown and when contact with water it turns almost black in color. The mosquitoes have preferential action towards dark colors and this would facilitate a congenial environment for the safe laying of eggs by mosquitoes. In addition to the dark color nature of the paper, the paper has an undulating surface which provides firm support to mosquito while laying eggs by providing surface mosquitoes to stand conveniently.These papers are useful for routine mosquito eggs collection in cyclic colony maintenance. Keep the paper our dark color bowl (these egg papers are conveniently cut to size to fit our bowls -ready to use) which inturn lure mosquitoes lay eggs preferentially. Since paper is made of high density yet sufficiently loose material to hold more water compared with the generally used blotting or filter paper, ideal to use field installation of ovitraps. After complete evaporation of bowl water the paper in turgid for at least 6-8 hrs. Small to large in size (240 - 960ml) with good visibility, these pint-sized containers are ideal for raising or breeding small colonies of disease vectors in labs with restricted space. These containers are also used to shuttle the mosquito colonies from one place to other.  The pint-sized insect pot can serve as temporary enclosures to conveniently restrain insects caught in the field.

The highly breathable screen pre-installed on the donut lid (top snap cap) is of 24 x 24 mesh netting (made of nylon used specially for insect rearing). Tainted screens can be easily replaced with fresh ones (sold separately) or substituted by your own screen materials.

The donut lid of the pint-sized insect pot has a matte surface for penciling notes.  To assemble a pint-sized insect pot, simply snap down 3 built-in clips around the rim to secure the lid to the pot.

Product Details

The WHO Cone Bioassay plays an integral role in the evaluation of the efficacy of long-lasting insecticidal nets as well as insecticides used in indoor residual spraying. The test is used on a variety of treated substrates, such as pieces of bed nets, mud, cement and wood. The package consists of plastic cones only. The additional requirements to perform cone bioassay like the solid surfaces, treatment materials, clips, cotton plugs and others are to be purchased separately as this can't be considered in general to list the items here for the purchase.

The World Health Organization (WHO) cone bioassay is a standardized method used to evaluate the effectiveness of insecticides, particularly those applied to long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs) used for malaria control.

The WHO bioassay cones are specifically designed for this purpose and have defined dimensions. They are made of translucent polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and have the following specifications:
